Bacall (CH Saga's To Have and To Have Not)
Bacall came to Long Lane in July 2012. From the start, she was a wonderful office companion and favourite of students at Acadia, seniors at the local seniors complex as a therapy dog, and to the neighbourhood residents. She was kind, loving, and one of the best ambassadors for the breed. She passed away March 2018. I remember her always. Here is her pedigree.
Teddy (AKC/CKC/FCI CH Limberlost S'more)
Teddy was born in Springfield, IL during the Illinois State Fair, thus the 'State Fair' name. She was co-owned with Colleen O'Keefe DVM of Limberlost. After gaining her CH, she was bred and returned home to Canada. Since that time, she has become the head diva of the household and does what she wants. She delivered her absolutely final litter April 2018 and then retired from everything. She remained the favourite house girl until her passing June 7, 2021. Teddy’s pedigree.
Pippin (AKC/CKC CH Long Lane's Promise to Limberlost
Pippin is the most inquisitive WSS ever to cross my threshold. And she is also one of the most loving. She is directed in her focus on ridding the house and yard of vermin while ensuring she remains close at hand. Once in the ring, she knows exactly what to do … she is a truly fun girl to have around! She has whelped two litters (one out of Quinn, AM/CA CH Rolyart’s Sound of Thunder December 14, 2019 and one out of Hugo, AM CH Don’s Superman). She is retired and spends her time keeping up with what’s happening in the neighbourhood and sleeping where ever she wishes. Here is Pippin’s pedigree.
Harlow (AKC CH Don's Cirque du Soleil)
Harlow arrived to Canada from Karin Brostram Berglund and Kennel Don’s in Sweden June 2015 as a young puppy. Two weeks later she won Best Baby Puppy in Show @ the Evangeline Kennel Club. Since that time, she has gained her AKC championship with additional points towards her Grand Championship. She has whelped 3 litters and is retired. Harlow’s pedigree.
Emma (AKC CH Clussexx Ahead of Her Time)
What can we say about Emma?? She is earnest in everything that she does while loving everyone around her. She came to Canada from Erin Miller and Stonecroft Kennels in VA. While in Canada, she won Best Baby Puppy in the Sporting Group x 3 @ her first Canadian show — the Halifax International Dog show. She then moved to Eastchester, NY to live with her co-owner Dr. Stacey Blau and finished her AKC CH. She returned to Canada and was bred to Quinn, AM/CA CH Rolyart’s Sound of Thunder and whelped 5 puppies (1 boy, 4 girls) May 5, 2020. She currently lives with her forever family in Eastchester, NY. Bliss (CKC CH Long Lane Heart of My Heart)
What can I say about a puppy named Bliss? She is, without question, one of the kindest and loving WSS I have had in my house. She is out of Pippin (CH Long Lane Promise to Limberlost) and Quinn (CH Rolyart's Sound of Thunder), and possesses Pippin's physical features and temperament. Active? Yes! Loving? Yes, yes, and more yes! She was bred to Dante (AKC/CA CH Long Lane Helmsman Sent from Heaven) and whelped 8 pups March 2023. She will be bred once more before she returns to the show ring. Charlie (CKC Ch Long Lane Dark and Stormy Night)
Charlie (she's a girl!) is the latest addition to the Long Lane kennel. A highly anticipated puppy from a line breeding between Harlow (CH Don's Cirque du Soleil) and Tom (CH Clussexx Pay Per View for Don's), she and her litter mates arrived during a freak snow storm May 9, 2020. Charlie is smart, responsive, and fearless. She plays well with Bliss and Eden but, as a COVID puppy, is a little shy. We are working on this! She is next in line for breeding and she will let me know when this happens. Her pedigree is here.
Eden (Clussexx XOXOX)
Eden came to Long Lane from Jeane Haverick and Kaileigh Gonzales @ Clussexx in Antioch, IL. She's out of Mayhem (GCHS Clussexx Trouble Never Takes a Holiday) and Khaki (Sallebacks La Criminelle D’ons). Eden has a fun personality and is truly earnest in what she does. As a show dog, she is attending shows here in the U.S. with Stacy Threlfall, her handler. I am pleased to have Sallebacks in my breeding program. She will be bred to Thompson (AKC GCH Long Lane Rider on the Storm) when the timing is right.

Watson (CH Long Lane Lasting Impression)
What can I say about Watson? He is one of my favourite boys (because he is a Teddy-CH Limberlost S’more and Justice-CH Ivywild’s Dew Unto Others boy) with his fabulous temperament and goofy (actually, loving) demeanor. He loves to snuggle. He earned his championship easily with wins over several specials. To date, he has sired three litters, who have shown success in the ring already! He lives happily with his owners Cameron and Mark Levine in Columbus, SC.
Bos’n (GCH Long Lane Boatswain’s Mate of HMS Halsted)
Bos’n travelled from Canada to the U.S. as a young pup and has fit in well at his forever home in Hingham, MA with his owners Joan and Patrick Barrett. He is very much his father’s (CH Clussexx Pay Per View for Don’s) son and gained his championship easily with BOB wins over specials. Momma Teddy (CH Limberlost S’more) smiles at his antics. He finished his Grand Championship in no time, with his favourite handler Katie Shepard Bernardin!
Dante (AKC Ch/CKC Ch Long Lane Helmsman Sent from Heaven)
Dante is the best of his momma Teddy (CH Limberlost S’more) and his daddy Tom (CH Clussexx Pay Per View for Don’s) sensitive and biddable and very willing to do conformation and hunting! His Canadian CH was gained from owner-handled group placements. Dante is owned by Donna Matheson (Edgemere Kennels)
Butter (AKC CH Long Lane Ahead of the Storm)
Butter arrived on Cinco de Mayo celebrations in May 2020 right as COVID hit. She is out of Emma x Quinn and is an imp! She lives in Berwyn, PA with her owners — Tara and Sloane Zlotkin — and is loved by them and Ari and Max!. She completed her CH in May 2022 with Roxanne Sutton in Freehold, NJ.

Java comes to Long Lane from Jeane Haverick & Kaileigh Gonzalez from Clussexx Kennels in Antioch, IL.
Thomson (AKC GCH Long Lane Rider on the Storm)
The handsome Thompson arrived, along with his litter mates, during a freak May snowstorm, thus the litter theme. He traveled down to Eastchester, NY where his new owners — Julia Cannon Hudson and Sam Hudson — took him home to Douglasville, GA. They give him over to Stacy & Evan Threlfall (who have handed many Long Lane WSS in the show ring) and he gained his AC CH in 3 weekends. Such an achievement! Julia and Sam owned and loved Thompson’s daddy — AKC Ch Clussexx Pay Per View for Don’s — so the tradition continues. He is a lovely boy! And I am excited for what his future holds for him.
